Immorality isn’t only sinful, it has destroyed nations. Those engaging in same-sex relationships have every legal right to do so, and also the same civil rights as all Americans. Yet that seems not to be enough; they would pervert and defile marriage, the biblical and secular definition of which is “a formal union of a man and a woman.” Fornication has resulted in an alarming number of children born out of wedlock. Many studies affirm that children raised by a mother and father in a traditional family have greater prospects of living productive, satisfying lives. Evidence to the contrary dominates the news.
Adultery destroys families at an insidious rate yet seems to have become acceptable in our culture. Apathy from “Christians” concerning these issues, including denominations that advocate for same-sex relationships, even in ministry and leadership positions, is alarming. To those who say we’re haters, homophobes or just archaic, I say that apparently God, with whom our eternal fate rests, is also. Silence isn’t golden if it allows evil to flourish.
Who truly loves these people? Those who watch them walk the path toward eternal destruction or those who tell them the truth?
